Bug: Game freezes in loading screen

This started after I was trying to fix another bug. Every dozen or so games my OOTP would crash in the 9th inning when I hit finish inning or skip until runners are in scoring position. I went and changed 3D settings, among other things. It didn't work. I then went and changed settings in the troubleshooting section of the main menu, it froze. When I restart OOTP, it was stuck in the loading screen with the main circling logo never stopping.

I've restarted my laptop 30 times, I've closed/reopen the app 80 times, I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app twice, I checked for updates and updated my macOS, it didn't work after that. I've gone through and done trace mode through terminal, it doesn't produce trace files. Nothing has worked. I've played OOTP for 5+ years, I've never had issues, now all of a sudden I've had two and nothing is working.

Figured it would be worth it to see if older games also had this issue, but OOTP 23 worked without an issue.
