I remember when the iron Babe Ruth sold out last year within 24 hours. I did get 2 shots at Sherry Magee in just 100 packs, but, fun fact, missed.

It's all about cap tournaments, so that you don't have to waste points on the bench. I think the prices are more than ridiculous, but then I don't play cap tournaments. I sold one of those Babes last year for 115,000 points, but at least that one was a killer in Iron tournaments. This Getz card's only value is in its lack of value (40 overall). Ratings are worse than the best Iron cards, and he only plays second base. Meh.
