Forced to enable "ghost players" and now my scout thinks everyone is 80/80

Hey so I keep running into problems with my game when I somehow run out of minor league players in the 2030's and am forced to enable "ghost players" and my league MLB turned into MLB (R) and now my scout thinks all my players and basically every other teams players are 80/80 or 70/80 ect. I fired my scout and hired someone else and the problem is the same, the OSA rankings are basically the same as well. I have a great team but I know not everyone is 80/80. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

I use ghost players and always have. It has no affect on how my scouts evaluate MLB.

Sounds like you've set the menu to have all players "relative to rookie ball". Upper right corner menu option on most roster and player pages. If you set it to this, well obviously, all MLB players will be rated an 80 pot. If you change the setting from say relative to MLB to relative to Rookie that setting will stick throughout the game until you change it back. IE if you change the setting to relative to rookie to view a rookie ball player in context of R-ball and then look at a MLB player, the MLB player will be displayed relative to rookie ball. Without any screen shots my guess is this is the cause. This is by design so one can have their scout's view on a player compared to any level one might think of moving that player too. IE I'm thinking of moving Joe Baseball up from A to AA. His stats are ok, but what does the scout think about his skill vs. AA pitching? "Relative to" is how one finds out.

For your MLB to actually "turn into" MLB(R) it would take manually changing the league to rookie level under ...
Game Settings>League Settings>Leagues and Teams
I don't believe there is any way the game will change a league level, other than having "league evolution" turned on and, in that case MLB should never be affected. That would be a bug, and require a support ticket and documentation. I'm sure, if that were the case Matt would want a league file sent in for them to examine. I'm doubtful the game did this "on it's own", but hey, who knows?

Screenshot of your "Leagues and Teams", "Global Settings", and any roster page that shows the "relative to XXX" in the upper right corner may help us see what is going on. "Leagues and Teams" will show the league level selected, Global settings will show the "relative to" setting as will most roster type screens and every player page.
