Pro Baseball Experience - A unique sim league where YOU are the player

So if anybody likes Road to the Show, or creating their own baseball player and following their player's career then this might interest you. There's a baseball sim league that allows you to create your own player, and puts them on a team using OOTP. It's called Pro Baseball Experience (PBE). So if you've ever wanted to be a leadoff hitter with 50 SB potential, or a fireballing lefty ace starter, or a shutdown closer, or 40 HR bat, or even a 30/30 HR/SB hitter this is your chance.

Just like a real player, you choose your primary position and what your player is good at. Then you get drafted to a team in the minors, and eventually work your way to the major leagues. There's actually a second draft for the major leagues which is pretty cool. Depending on what tasks you do you get points to improve your skills, and on Tues/Wed/Thurs/Sat the games are simmed on Twitch. So you get to see your player live at least once or twice a week, otherwise you can follow them through the box scores or reports like we use. You can go to https://www.twitch.tv/pbesim and see some past examples of the sims.

There's the draft for minor leaguers (new players) coming up in the next week, so if you're interested now is a great time to join! If you join after the draft you can still get added to a minor league team, so don't worry if you're reading this post at a later date

. Even if you don't have a ton of time you can be an effective player - relievers are great for someone looking for something more casual.

You don't need OOTP for this. It is free to play.

There are GMs for each team to help you achieve your goals, and to build up their team to help win a World Series. It's done on Discord. So you get to chat with your teammates as well. There's no trading or roster management if you're a player like there is for other leagues, but you get to be part of a baseball team and you can try and get your player in the Hall of Fame, win an MVP/CY Young, and win a World Series. It's a lot of fun!
