Saves Bleed

There are repeated issues with the bleeding of settings in between saves on v24 that I have never experienced before. It is as if they have been set to global rather than local.

Some instances include:

The carrying over of colours from the page you were on in one save to a page in a different save.
Screen setup savings carrying across multiple saves.
The default selection of the tab referring back to the way things were in a save you were previously on.

Obviously of huge concern for what it could mean regarding corruption rather than just the inconvenience involved.

Hope someone looks into this at least, and preferably fixes it in an oncoming patch.

Bumping this with some photographic evidence of the sort of thing that is rife in this version and a real pain. So I hope it gets the required attention, if anyone reads this.

This is what one of my saves on v24 looks like every time I switch from any of the others on that version, despite the fact that I reset it every time.

And this is what I reset it to, every time.

Really keen to get these interface issues sorted in an upcoming build, they are killing the fun.

I believe that OOTPD reads everything but they don't have the time to respond to it all. Especially in a case where it looks like your issue is very isolated. Have you seen anybody else complaining about this? I can only assure you that my organization screen comes up fine every time.

Try, perhaps, a different skin (as you see, I use the Classic Skin). Or you may want to re-install the game. There is a shortcut for this in File, Settings, Troubleshooting called "Force game data re-installation." That might work, but back up your league(s) first.

But I would guess that there will be no mention of this in any future patch unless it becomes evident that it is a common problem.

Um, to be clear, not multiple saves of the same game... but multiple games in this version... as the settings of one game are bleeding into a separate save.

Yes, precisely.

With the other cosmetic / interface issues I am seeing and have posted about (and even logged in the bug tracker), I am convinced this is a bigger problem than just the inconvenience I am experiencing.

I don't believe any of this is saved at the league level. It's likely an issue with certain things staying in memory when you load a different game. Also not sure why you're posting this here instead of logging it

I am also having this issue, but it is more expansive.

Not only do my custom Screen Setups reset if I close and re-open the game, but also my custom Views and custom player stats for batting, pitching, and fielding stats.

I have tried several times to get it to work. This is not a fun introduction OOTP 24 to be perfectly honest, my online League just switched over and spending time customizing these views, saving it, exporting it, and then restarting (and also importing the exported file back as well) and seeing it completely reset is very frustrating.

Any help would be appreciated. - Robert

UPDATE: I forced a game data re-installation and it now appears to be functioning correctly, saving properly, and opening correctly when the file is restarted.
