eauhomme Minors (Double A) Join Date: Jan 2022 Posts: 129	Errors on stolen bases with no extra advance This has happened a couple times. A runner steals a base, the catcher throws the ball into the outfield, but the runner doesn't take the extra base. The catcher is still given an error. The proper call is for this to be a stolen base only. The error is given only if a runner advances past the stolen base.
