Have Free Agent fan interest drops happen at start of Free Agency

So when a team loses a popular player in free agency fan interest can drop when they sign, but depending on when they sign it can really affect the team. For example if that player doesn't sign until the season starts and all of a sudden mid season the team gets this big drop in fan interest even though that player hadn't been on their team since the previous season. A lot of times when they sign mid season it's for minor league contract too. This can especially affect small market clubs. So I wanted to post and suggest that the fan interest drops happen at the start of Free Agency or at least a portion of the fan interest drop happen at start of Free Agency. And if the team was to resign that player in Free Agency the fan interest just goes back up like it would with any signing of a popular free agent player. It would just stop teams from taking the fan interest hits at weird times that can harm the team more than if the drop just happened immediately after the player hit Free Agency and was no longer apart of the club.
