OOTP 23 -> OOTP 24 Online Arb/FA Contract issue
Hi there. Our league just updated to OOTP24 from 23. We're at Arbitration, but there's an issue in that we're unable to get feedback when offering guys contracts who are arb eligible.
Here's what happens (example): I offer a player who's asking for 5m in arb a contract for 8m for 3 years. I hit "ask for response". Generally the player tells me that it's good/bad. However, now, it just says "you've submitted an offer". No feedback. In every replication, the player NEVER accepts the deal (offered 20 days out). Even if it's absurd (Giving same guy above 30m a year for 10 years, still comes back with an arb award). Additionally, this offer never shows up under pending offers. We're not sure what to do. I tried simming it forward a year with random names/teams for testing in a dummy file, and it seemed to fix it... but my guys are worried about how to proceed without offering these guys. Additionally, it appears that the same is happening with pending UFAs. I'd love to know if any of you have ran into this, and how you fixed it. Our long standing league has been on a hold for a week trying to decide the best course. We submitted a ticket (5/6 days ago now, no response) for this issue, so hopefully the community has some insight. |

By any chance, is the “hard trading” [new] option toggled on? When I tried it, your experience was the result. No feedback. No deals. I turned it off and have not tried again. Trading is hard enough with the setting at “hard”!

I did see human GM rep in trading is checked. Wondering if that has ... triggered the issue. I'll play with it too. Last edited by Acehawk74; 06-10-2023 at 08:43 PM. |
