League Statistics
According to my LEAGUE > STATISTICS > SORTABLE STATS screen, there are fewer players playing RF than there are teams in the league. I am using the filter FIELDING STATS > POS "is" =9
Additionally, as the season progresses, the list actually shrinks, indicating that even fewer players have played RF. |

I think that might be filtering based on the player's main chosen position (i.e. what is listed next to their name when you look at their player page). Basically, there are likely players playing RF that don't have RF listed as their main position.
If you want everyone that has the ability to play RF you can use the "Position" drop-down in the menu instead of the Filter drop-down. |

Incorrect. I am talking about the STATISTICS page, not my MANAGE CARDS section. There are players whose official position is not RF listed on this page because they have played at least 0.1 inning at RF. There just aren't enough of them. The FIELDING STATS > POS filter is supposed to select anyone who has played at that position, regardless of their official main position. Also, I am doing this for every position. RF is the only one that has this problem.

Are you referring to Perfect Team? I wouldn't know about that. However, within the main game the Position drop-down is definitely pulling in players with other "main positions" based on the anything the player has a rating for. I also definitely never mentioned the Manage Cards page.

Yes, Perfect Team, but it's no different in base game. I am using the filter because I only want to see statistics accumulated while playing RF. Not the fielding stats of everyone who is capable of playing RF.

That appears to be how the Position drop-down works.
For example, you can see the player I've highlighted here has no stats with RF selected. https://www.screencast.com/t/u0wxrMjoH9j However, when I look at his fielding stats I see that he has played some 2B. https://www.screencast.com/t/fmvnPWSSH2 |

Thank you for your help, but I am trying to only display stats accumulated at RF. Using the position drop-down includes tonnes of players who have not played a single out at RF, but are capable of playing RF. Again, this works properly for me at every other position.

You can get to only the players that played RF by sorting/filtering by the Games column. I am not seeing what you are describing with other positions. For example, if I switch to 1B I also see a bunch of players that are eligible at 1B but didn't play any innings there (if I haven't filtered the 0 games players out). Hi, sorry I had to go earlier and didn't respond.
Firstly, I just realized that I posted this in the wrong forum. Oopsie daisy. ![]() I was able to get the results I was looking for by using the filter AND the position drop-down. It went from 17 players with 0.1 innings played at position 9 with "all players" selected on the position dropdown to 100 players with the same filter and "right field" selected. Doesn't make sense to me but at least I got the data I wanted. Thanks for your help. Last edited by boneslicer; 05-24-2023 at 07:25 PM. |
