Change of uniforms won't take!

I changed the ARZ team CAL SEALS to on July 1. No problem with team name change and so forth, however, the uniforms won't change. I get a generic one. What is going on? I deleted the date of the CAL Seals 1973 at the end team name to make current like the rest of the teams. The current year is 2023. How do I make the uniforms show-up. Didn't have a problem with other versions.

Do you have them named as the California Seals or the California Golden Seals? If it's just "Seals", you'll need to remove "_golden_" from the file's name as well.

Yes, I had Golden in the name of the team. I removed that name; however, the jersey did not change when I loaded the game. I am past the 7/1 date. Not sure if that makes a difference. The game keeps generating generic uniforms. I keep deleting them, it does not seem to make a difference.

I have to hit new fictional picture. The logo pic did not change.
