buying cards

I decided to play Perfect Team this year instead of just checking it out... How does one buy cards on the market as i saw last year it was sold when time runs out. This year a bit confused as I have no idea of what i am to do when i buy a card in the market then click on a card i want. I did new buy order and place my bid or order and i see nothing happening. No clue as to what happened or happening?? Do i have to hit buy now with the set price?

This year there is no auction. You can buy the cards at the price listed, or enter a "Buy Order" for a lower price, which will trigger if someone offers one at that price.

View your "Transaction History" to see if you bought the card after placing a buy order, or, alternately, check your "Card Orders" to see if the order is still there (because it will remain until triggered.)

You still have the old Auction House in your system. The Card Shop has no time limitations.

1) If there is a card you want and there are Sell Orders for it the Card Shop will display the lowest sell order. If there are no Sell Orders it will show 0 (aka zero).

2) If that listed price is agreeable to you click the Buy Now button, the PP will be deducted from your balance and the player will immediately be on your roster.

3) If you don't want that player at the Buy Now price listed then put a Buy Order in for the lower amount you ARE willing to pay. In this case NOTHING happens except the Buy Order you placed will deduct those PP from your PP balance (as if you bought it). If you cancel the Buy Order the PP will be added back to your balance.

But the Buy Order does NOT get you that player until a Seller meets your price. Remember though, if others have Buy Orders higher than yours than they are first in line ahead of you, so to speak.

May I suggest you try it by buying a low PP player (like 10PP or something) with Buy Now and that player will immediately be added to your roster. Then try again by placing a Buy order on a low PP player. In which case the PP will be deducted from your PP balance immediately, but you will not get the player until a Seller meets YOUR price.

It is an adjustment from the old auction house but it will eventually click for you.

Edit to add: The OLD Auction House only listed cards that were PUT UP for auction. The Card Shop has EVERY player available in the game but are only available to you if someone is selling (has a Sell Order).
