PRMLB needs committed GMs

PRMLB is a long standing realistic MLB league that has consistently run without missing a sim since OOTP15. We just entered the 2040 offseason and are about to begin our 27th season! We are a very competitive league that has played together for years but we are also very welcoming and supportive of new players.

League Type: Modern realistic
OOTP Version: OOTP 23
Number of Teams: 32 (expansion teams in Las Vegas and Homestead)
Sim Schedule: Sun/Wed/Fri - exports due by 7pm ET
League Time Per Sim: 7 Days
Rating Scale: 20-80
Scouts: ON
Coaches: OFF
Injuries: Low (no delayed Diagnosis)
Revenue Sharing: Balanced media markets
DH: Yes
Rule 5: YES
Trading: YES with other players. Draft Pick Trading rounds 1-5

We also vote on league issues and rule changes during the Winter Meetings. New GMs can release a contract from their books at no penalty. Our Slack channel handles all major league business and discussion. World Series winner usually gets a retro baseball shirt sent to them as a prize from the Commish.

OPENINGS:
Seattle Mariners - They have only had one GM throughout league history, but he recently filled a vacancy in Washington. This team has a stacked rotation but a weak farm and could go either way. Your choice whether to rebuild or push.

Seattle has been filled, but Toronto unexpectedly opened up yesterday as the GM announced his departure.

Toronto had a long standing GM for most of the league's history, but has been in transition over the last couple of seasons and needs a bit of work. They have some pieces, but are in need of some TLC and consistent management. Statsplus link HERE

We have two big market franchises currently available. The league is in the offseason right before the 2042 season - manual draft in Stats+ is about to begin and Spring Training is around the corner. Most of the big Free Agent class is still available!

Los Angeles Dodgers - Big market team that has never really found success. The farm and quality players are there and this is a fringe playoff team even without a lot of attention. Jump in, spend like the Dodgers and show the NL West who is boss.

Boston Red Sox - the previous GM was very unique in his team building strategy. The team makes the playoffs every year, but the farm and upcoming draft picks are sparse and the team is way overbudget. It'll take a year or two to get them back on track. This is a very unique challenge with a great team that's on the brink of bankruptcy. Can you turn the ship around? Experienced GMs for this one only, please!

We are currently looking for a Pittsburgh Pirates GM. Their former GM moved to the Dodgers vacancy in order to take advantage of the large budget.

Pittsburgh Pirates - this team has been consistently well managed and is exiting a rebuild with some very exciting players. They're still a small market team in a competitive division, so this is certainly a challenge! Per charter, any new GM gets to release a contract off the books without penalty.

We are currently in Spring Training 2042, so a great time to join and make your mark with an established franchise that needs a guiding hand. Our league is very competitive, but also embraces and works exceptionally well with newer players. Come join us!

We are wrapping up the 2042 postseason this week and will transition to the offseason shortly. There are two positions currently available:

Pittsburgh Pirates - the 113 win Pirates (not a typo!) are currently available! They are a young core who had a breakout season with plenty of cheap, cost controlled players. Dynasty in the making. Easy grab for someone who wants to win right away!

Toronto Blue Jays - the opposite case in Toronto, where they are in the middle of a rebuild in the league's toughest division. This job will require a committed GM who is willing to put in the work.

We just entered the offseason and free agents have declared heading into the 2043 season. Two really great openings available:

Pittsburgh Pirates - the 113 win Pirates (not a typo!) are currently available! They are a young core who had a breakout season with plenty of cheap, cost controlled players. Dynasty in the making. Easy grab for someone who wants to win right away!

California Angels - the opposite case in Anaheim, where they are at the end of a rebuild. Big market with lots of cash, the top ranked OSA farm system, and the #1 pick in the upcoming draft. This team needs someone to finish the job.

We just started the 2043 season and have two openings:

Cincinnati Red Stockings - they have only had one GM for the entirety of league history (8 years and 28+ seasons) and he is stepping away due to life commitments. Playoff regular, stacked team and farm. Cherry job.

Las Vegas Stars - expansion team in their 4th season, have made the playoffs the past three years. Great GM who is taking a hiatus. Solid organization.
