Game unplayable - autosave error

Long-time user. Just installed and tried to set up a historical league. After clicking "start game", the season starts to load but then I get the following error message:

"Could not create folder "auto save"!
The auto save function could not create the auto save folder and will be disabled."

The game freezes at the "Please wait, saving database..." stage and won't move forward.

Please help. Picture attached.

This sounds like a potential problem with write permissions on your system. The first thing to try would be to run the game in admin mode and see if that fixes this.

Starting in admin mode worked. Thanks! Weird that I didn't have to do this w/ prior versions of ootp.
