High HR totals in fictional league
I start a fictional league every edition of the game.
2 16 team, 2 division setup. Initial draft to set correct city sizes. I sim 60 years and take a team over. I never need to adjust any stat modifiers, just let it sim for 6 years, everything usually looks great. With 24, for the first ten years, HR's are crazy high. The leading HR totals for 1906 read 191, 189, 186 etc. The career record for HR is 1,931. Is there a way to governor HR totals, or to start a certain way? Maybe on the League Totals page on the stats tab in setup? Thanks for listening |

Have you made sure you're choosing the right settings to apply historical league totals and player creation modifiers to your fictional game? I suspect there are some incorrect or overlooked settings that are causing this.
I would take a closer look at your settings during game creation and immediately after, to make sure your game is actually going to use the correct settings for the era you're trying to emulate with your fictional league. |

I was able to figure this out.
For anyone stumped as I was for a bit: On the stats/ai screen in league setup, a year must be selected from one of the period year bands. HRs are back in the normal ranges. |
