Changing bullpen roles sometimes don't "stick"

Was surprised to see my Josh Hader pitched only 4.1 innings overnight, at least until I saw that his role was "none specified".

I am 100.00% sure I set him to closer last night, and that I submitted the team, possibly more than once. I *always* submit the team before logging out.

I already noticed several other situations yesterday where I went back to the pitching screen and found some relievers with no role assigned ("none specified"), but didn't think much of it, since I opened my packs gradually rather than all at once and had some turnover.

But with the Hader thing, I'm 100% certain that the bullpen roles don't always take as they are supposed to. I now set him back to closer, submitted, closed the game, logged back in, and he's still set to closer now. So far I can't say anything about when and when not the roles "stick" but I'll keep an eye on that one.

I'll second this. I definitely see this when adding new pitchers to my roster. I'll set their role, submit the team, and come back later only to find that they are still set with no role.
