Need Help: Released Players Won't Resign with Former Team

For a new multiplayer online league we ran a 7 round draft. Everyone was released and all remaining players will now be part of our free agency process. Unfortunately, noticing that released players refuse to negotiate in free agency with the teams that released them. Any works arounds or suggestions on how to better manage this issue?

Was that using the regular initial draft procedure, or you released them via the team menu's "release all players" option? If it's the latter, that would still be treated as a regular release, which would prevent the player from negotiating with the team for a while (likely well into the season.) Not really any way to work around it, short of allowing those teams to exceed the offer the player signs for and then the commissioner moving the player manually.
