I want to hear more about the historical mode updates! Do NLB players have more appropriate skill levels when joining before Jackie Robinson?

To be fair, there are a lot of stupid trades in real life also.

I’m kind of like a broken record, but the biggest new feature for me would be to have NLBers added to random debut. I think they’ve done a solid job rerating the players, Satchel Paige is at least a solid Top 2 starter instead of a AAAA player like in previous versions.

Of course there are. What you don't see though is teams signing a star player to an extension and then the player immediately being able to be acquired by a rival team for pennies on the dollar because they suddenly dont like the contract.

So when we replay season we can have an option to randomize the manager and GM tendencies of all the teams?
Are there new player attributes and ratings?

One minor bug that has existed since the dawn of time is that division standings are ranked by win pct and not games above/below .500.

This creates the occasional situation where the 1st place team is ranked 2nd but his GB is listed as +1 or something like that.

Also, it would be awesome if that same simple nomenclature could be used here (see image) to denote how big of a lead the first-place team has.

This is NOT a bug. It is per the rules of the game, dating back to the days when rainouts and train schedules left the possibilities of differnet schedules played.

But there is still an issue where the game marks a team as eliminated because they are behind a team that is eliminated but due to an uneven number of remaining games they still have a chance.

Hopefully they give us the ability to pick a year to import league history from. Nothing I hate more than when the record books are filled with stats from pre-1920. I would love to be able to pick the cutoff year for history imports.

Do you mean like if you start your league in 1980 then you would like to have history from 1920 to 1979?
Instead of having the entire history from 1901to 1979 when you select 1980?
Or am I musunderstanding your comment?

One thing that I hope gets fixed is the ability to keep “DFAing” the same players even when they are currently DFA’d. You can technically keep a guy on DFA for an entire season by just clicking DFA when he gets down to 1 day left and then he goes back up to 10.
