Is this rare?
I don't post here much at all; this is only my third one. (I am a quiet man.) But this came up a couple days ago, and it boggled my mind. A Natural Hit for the Cycle: Out, Single, Double, Triple, Home Run--in ascending order. Took ten innings, but who's counting. Way to go, Sherry!

Interesting progression... never thought of including an out.
Thanks for sharing it. |

Hitting the cycle in order is what's pretty rare. Quick check tells me only 15 "natural" cycles have been hit. 339 total cycles have been hit. 10 have hit a reverse or "unnatural" cycle. 6 players have hit 3 cycles in their career. Trea Turner and Christian Yelich cornering the cycle market over the last 5 years with 3 each. And only 5 have done it twice in one season.

There is a "did you know "about natural cycles when saving games or advancing each day.
