Perfect Team Entry Fees??

Teasing entry fees for formerly free tournaments in PT is NOT an enticement to pre-order. If I want to pay entry fees, I'll play for real money at Draft Kings instead of electronic cards that go poof eventually.

I don't play PT. But I just rewatched that part of the trailer, pausing it, and did not see anything about entry fees. Where did you get this information? Charging for something that was previously free with no value added is bad business in my opinion.

Happens all the time. See Amazon Music.
I did not see it in the video, but I have heard rumors that is the path

It's not in the trailer. I found it as a bullet point on the Steam store page.

Bigger and better Tournament competitions and rewards - including, for the first time-ever, exclusive "Entry Fee" tournaments that let you compete with the best in the world for amazing prizes!
Which could be entirely benign, like the entry fee being 1,000 coins. How you come with 1,000 coins is left entirely to you.

Nobody forces you to play these tournaments. It's a new type of tournament, it does not, of course, replace the other types already available.

Yeah, just another place for whales to be whales. I don't see it putting me off playing.

Until card rewards in those are either vastly superior to those available in free tourneys/packs, or worse, needed for collections.

Also depends on the price of those tourneys. If it's "only" PP, then it is what it is. If it's a monetary value, that is a different whole ball game, pun intended.

Hey Markus, Will the rewards be cards needed for future sets? Will the reward in these tourneys be available in the free to play tourneys as well?

My biggest concern is real money entry fees, or PP entry fees so high you to pay real money for entry. Either way, it strongly suggests a gambling element that PT may be illegal in my state to play it.

Rewards will only be PP and packs, so nothing exclusive.

No worries. We had it checked legally, of course. Not a problem. It's just PP entry fees, and we pay out more than the combined fees, so no comissions here.

Your PT save was corrupted? I've never played PT, but yeah, that would be annoying.

I know. IOW trolling in a PT thread about a dead horse. Very useful.
