Transfer custom filters and views from OOTP 22 to OOTP 23

Picked up OOTP 23 not too long ago and just imported my OOTP 22 save in. However, I noticed that my custom filters and views didn't transfer over. Is there any way to do that? Also wondering if there is a way to transfer over the layouts I set up (ex: Team Home screen, Manager's Office).

I found a couple threads explaining how to transfer these over from one PC to another by copying certain files, but that was for the same version. Not sure if this holds true across different version of the game (at least it doesn't seem to be working for me).

Thank you!

Oh! Hmmm... I must have done something wrong then. I'll take a closer look. I did find that thread via Google search, but didn't realize it was posted only two weeks ago; assumed it was an olde rthread. Feel a bit silly for asking now .

Appreciate grace and patience. Thank you!

It probably didn't work for you because you still had OOTP open when you copied in the new file. IE If OOTP is still open when you copy in the file it will not "stick".

You need to

Open OOTP and from the splash screen, click
Settings> Troubleshooting Tab,> "Open folder containing file 'app.cfg' & 'engine.cfg'.

This will open a window with the user.dat file in it. OOTP will drop to the task bar. Click on the OOTP icon in the task bar and bring it back up, then click on "exit" on the bottom right.

After you have exited OOTP, copy your "old version user.dat" file into the folder you just opened. If you copy in the file without exiting OOTP it will be overwritten with the old file that OOTP has in memory when OOTP does it's autosave routine on exit.
