Controlling 2 teams

Can you control more than 1 team in this version? Thanks in advance.

answer is yes it can be done. however, it means a lot of work on your part, keeping up with emails, promotions, injuries, making trades and drafting, etc.

i currently am doing it controlling 2 teams - one in each league. you'll need to create a distinct person for each team - Bob Jones for team A and Lester Smith for team B - as an example. i don't think the same persona can control 2 teams at the same time, but in the Commish mode by creating 2 different GMs you can do it.

You need a separate human manager for each team you want to control.

To create more you want to go to the menu for your current human manager and then to "Other Human Managers" --> Add/Edit Managers.

Then, you will need to use this same menu to switch between your "Active Manager" throughout your save.

You DO NOT want to use "Act As" unless only want to make some specific moves for an otherwise AI controlled team.

It’s indeed tough. I recently created two separate managers, and then found Ai was not populating their minor league systems. I had to make offers to free agents to fill out the rosters. Then I had to monitor which offers were accepted, and assign those guys to the appropriate minor league level. It was confusing, slipping between the two franchises, different mail boxes.

Controlling multiple teams has been possible in OOTP for a long time.

Just create as many GM's as you wish.
