Successful, but obscure, managers

Have any of you had great to championship success with one of those obscure, never heard of, "Fair" or "Average" managers that are pages back in the Staff Search for managers? If you remember or have them still, who is he and how long have you had him?

A YT content creator I follow won a dynasty with Bruce Crabbe as the Manager of the Mets in OOTP20. In all his saves he's done since then he usually ends up bringing in Bruce Crabbe to save the team once the incumbent Manager is sacked.
