Custom Logo Color Settings CSV Help
Hello all!
I found this gem in the Logos readme txt: I typically create logos and ballcap logos only for teams I'm not managing, so I've used the legacy hex colors in the primary logo files names for forever. With the new color options, I am really excited about the CSV for colors, but so far I haven't been able to make it work. Has anyone else messed around with this feature and had success? Here's how I have it setup: In game "Logos" folder: CITY_NAME.png CITY_NAME_color_settings.csv In the CSV: Line one: header data (i.e., "City,Name,Notes,From,To,T1...") Line two: team data (i.e., "CITY,NAME,,,,HEXHEX...") I've tried including the header line and not including it, including CITY,NAME and not including it, etc. And I can't figure out the right way to do it. Once I get it working, I want to see if I can create a line for each change: L2: CITY,NAME,,2000,2010,HEXHEX... L3: CITY,NAME,,2011,2013,HEXHEX... But that's a problem for future Will, I'd appreciate it if anyone can help me make the basic CSV setup work first... Thanks! |

Hello all,
Want to bump this thread in light of the recent update that addresses the CSV color files. Unfortunately, after several attempts at using this feature, I still haven’t cracked the code on how it works. Has anyone else explored this feature at all? I would love to make it work so I can have a single logo file per team and save the 20 hex values in the CSV for each team. Posted this in Bug Reports, submitted a ticket, and on the subreddit with no luck. Thanks in advance. |

Hi Will, sorry for the late answer, I haven't seen this post before, unfortunately.
So after you've created such csv file you need to load the logo file with the same name again (CITY_NAME.png). The csv file will be picked up automatically and replace the colors for that team. Have you tried to reload the logo file? |

What are the names of the files (logo and csv) that you try?

Alex,
Thanks for the reply. Here’s a post in the bug report thread: https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...d.php?t=337267 And some more here: https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...66&postcount=8 The short answer is, in a fictional league with custom team names and a custom logos directory, I’ve tried both custom names (e.g., Liverpool Reds) and your example name (i.e., Atlanta Braves) with no luck. The game loads the custom logo just fine in either case, but not the CSV settings in either case. (I have the color hex codes set to some obvious color, so it should be easy to tell. And the logo file has no hex codes in the file name, just City_Nick.png). I’ve also tried all of this from the default logos folder in case it’s an issue with a custom directory. Thanks! |

We are reworking this procedure now. Fixing the method and adding more posibilities.
There will be a manual how to use the new method. |

That's now implemented in the new 23.7.87 build. See here for more details: https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...d.php?t=340619
