Best player in your save

I'm only playing modern day NHL in challenge mode, and I was wondering if anyone has generational talent on their team (or one team with AI) and how do they get on? This only came across my mind as I got to draft Connor Bedard and he only gone on to become the greatest goalscorer in the NHL (and is still only 35). Safe to say if he didn't lose 156 games to injury during his career he would've done it a lot sooner....

In the play offs he is 1 point away from being the all time leader and has 82 goals more that a certain Wayne Gretzky

Many players, now active in NHL (and in the game itself) are overrated.

Its more fun to wait for some random generated player. Like this one.

A while back I did an Oilers playthrough to help get McDavid the best stats possible, I don't remember too many fine details but I recorded all the stats and team stats. We won 11 presidents' trophies, 6 Stanley cups, and never missed playoffs from 2021-2038. Also, set a record with 8 straight series sweeps running a top line of Draisaitl - McDavid - Pastrnak.

That McDavid save is unreal! 81 goals in a season too.

I'm trying to win the cup every year so might not have the best wingers to play with Bedard. He won the Stanley cup 15 times out of 17 possible.

In all of my saves players who are averaging 2 points a game early on seem to go on a wicked cold streak later in the year.

130 points in a season is the most I've ever seen...
