Called up too soon?

While my fictional league is small-ish (14 teams), the setup is fairly standard. Having said that, is anyone else seeing an issue where players are getting called up far too young/quickly?


The computer manager/GM in OOTP23 seems to push prospects very quickly and I'm seeing a rash of 20 and 21 year old starters at every position for every team. Many of these players have spent zero time in the minors, going from college straight to MLB.


For example, looking at my last two draft logs (I don't have a high school feeder league, only college), every single player in rounds 1-2 saw MLB time in their first pro season with many of the first rounders playing no time in the minors at all.



I haven't had this problem in previous versions of the game and am wondering if something changed that I need to adjust for in the settings.

What build are you using? This was an issue early on, but was fixed with a patch.

I'm using Version 23.5 Build 73. Just checked the forum and I do see a newer patch. I'll give that a shot, thanks
