We have newcomers and veterans as owners in the league ... myself was a newcomer and the league members were great in helping me get my bearings ... see below for open organizations and background on where they are as contracts and minor league systems ... no reason to have to tank and waste your time, these organizations are pretty bare and ready for rebuild
Rockies - Western League West Division ... most competitive division with last place team just seven games back through 66 games ... Older team at the MLB level with five contracts of 20+ million ranging from two to four years remaining ... minors is ranked 14th with two prospects in the top 40 (19th, 34th)
Cardinals - Western League Midwest Division ... Currently in second place and just two games out of first ... 12th-ranked minor league system ... four prospects in the top 75 ... 11 4-man contracts will expire following the current season ... Just one (Tatis, Jr, 27mill) has a player option
Dodgers - Western League West Division ... most competitive division with last place team just seven games back through 66 games ... minors ranked tied for 26th with no top-100 prospects ... 16 contacts will end following this season
Indians - Eastern League South Division ... currently in third place, 16 games off the pace ... second through seventh place separated by 13 games ... system is ranked 18th and has four prospects ranked between 40 and 91 ... nine 40-man contracts set to expire following season ... top contract remaining would be for 11.5, but that has a team opton that could be declined
Phillies - Eastern League North Division ... sits in fifth place, just four games out of a playoff spot ... minor league system is ranked 19th with four prospects between 52 and 85th ... Just five contracts on the 40-man will expire but top remaining salary would be 10.8 mill
White Sox - Western League Midwest Division ... while in fifth place, teams is seven games out of a playoff spot ... minor league system is ranked eighth with five in the top 100 prospects ... top contract expires after the season and so will two others ... 20 players on the 40-man with OSA rating of 55+
