can i copy teams from one saves to another?

I have 8 expansion teams in one of the my saves. I want to start a new save but I want to have those same 8 teams and I don't really want to go through adding them again unless I have to. Is there a way to do that? Just clarifiying I don't want the same players, just the same uniforms, logos, names, etc. I saw there was something like that in OOTP 13 called templates but I can't find that in OOTP 23.

One answer that you may not like is that - IF you saved those teams initially after creating them and their unis and logos, before starting your first season, you ought to be able to go back to that save point and re-start with all that data intact.

I understand that this can be more easily accomplished through a quick start; but I have never done that. I'm sure you'll hear shortly from those who have.
