Learning a new position

Hey guys, I know defense learning has been modified this year, but I was wondering if what's going on with my player was intended or is a bug. He's been playing more than 200 games at SS but is still under 50. I understand it takes a long time to excel at a new position, but I thought 2 full seasons would be more than enough to be at least average considering his ratings.

Thanks!

Ted Strong has been stuck at 48 at 1B for months now.

It has been stated that the learning curve steepens as you progress. Not sure how much, but my training definitely slows once you get in the double-digits.

I see it slowing for many other players on my team, but Strong's training has stopped, not slowed, around the All-Star game even though he's a regular at 1B.

yeah, not sure if that's a bug or a 'feature' but any card i've tried to 'train up' has always stopped at some proportion, maybe 66% or so (or 50%, like in your SS. pretty sure i got billy hamilton a bit higher than 50% though, but maybe not)
