"Double" Triple Crown?
I did a draft, and in the first season, both Barry Bonds(Min) and Alfonso Soriano(Col) hit for the Triple Crown. Anyone else ever see two guys do it in the same season?
Bonds- .398 63 HRs 184 RBIs Soriano- .338 56 HRs 159 RBIs

Just when you think you've seen all Barry can do, he outdeoes that. BTW, your National league doesn't hit near as well as the Al does it?

Wow! I've only had a few triple crown winners and never one in each league.

I have seen 2 or 3 triple crown winners in about 80 years of simming, never in the same season.

You do know that this has actually happened don't you?
![]() In 1933 Philadelphia had dual triple crown winners, Chuck Klein of the Phillies won it in the NL and Jimmie Foxx of the Athletics won it in the AL. I have also seen it a couple of times in OOTP especially when I sim the 1920's. Rogers Hornsby and Babe Ruth usually win a couple sometimes they have won them in the same year. |

I've had a player win the Triple Crown one year and another player the following year, in the same league. That's weird...

I think I had one in OOTP3. Todd Helton had it in the NL, but I forget who got it in the AL.

In OOTP4 with Rolen's rosters, I had back to back Triple Crowns in the NL. Helton first then Luis Gonzalez.

I had one player get back-to-back Triple Crowns.
He played in Colorado so that helped him. Actually, he got more than the Triple Crown. He led the league in: Batting Average, Homeruns, RBI, and Runs. |

In my Rockies dynasty, Albert Pujols won 3 Triple Crowns in a row. Even though he plays in Coors, its still impressive.
2006: .327, 49 HR, 133 RBI 2007: .382, 49 HR, 147 RBI 2008: .348, 38 HR, 151 RBI Hes won 2 World Series with the Rockies and 4 MVPs. Hes won 4 MVP's straight (4 straight, hes played 4 full seasons with the Rockies). Pujols also led the league in runs in atleast 1 season that I can remember, possibly all three. But it was led by a Rockie all three years. Most years Rockies would take 1, 2 and 3 in Runs and RBIs.
