All jerseys appear gray/in shadow?

Can you run the game in debug mode and get us a copy of your trace file?

Might be a problem with the normalmaps. Do you have custom jerseys with custom normalmaps in png or jpg format?
Does a "Reset all home/away jersey textures" from Game -> Game Settings -> Facegen help?

Those look like the default jerseys, but hard to say for certain.

Yes they are. And it appears to only be MLB teams, minors look fine. I'll look into this debug thing.

Still looks like this even with beta patch. Any suggestions for settings I could mess with perhaps?

We've had some trouble recreating some of the jersey issues, as they only appear to happen on certain systems, and unfortunately not on our debug builds. So we're still working on this. Not sure about settings atm, I'd have to do a little research on that.

To come back to this, we're still working figuring this out. Could you possibly get us another trace file or two from when you're specifically having the game create a new image? So go into a player(s) without a pic, then have the game create new pics for them. Or a player that already has pics and hit the button to regenerate. And send us the resulting trace file immediately afterwards, even without shutting down the game. Thanks!

One other thing to try as well would be updating your video card drivers, as it's possible that might help (or it might not, but it's at least worth trying).

One other suggestion here. Can you try going to settings > troubleshooting and then hit the option to 'force reinstall game data'. (Or on Steam, right click OOTP in the Steam client and go to properties > local files > verify integrity of game files).

After that, try creating an entirely new league. Do you still see the shadowed facegen unis? And if you go back into the original league and regenerate the shadowed faces, are they still there or do they get fixed?

This didn't work. Some teams are in shadows, some not. And swapping out jerseys/auto-loading/reloading doesn't change which teams are shadowed and which aren't.

Can you get the trace file from when you're specifically having the game create a new image, as I'd mentioned a couple posts up? The previous ones unfortunately didn't have any instances of the images being created.

Can you take a look at the texture files in your league folder (/data/saved_games/YOURGAME/jerseys)? Are the textures for the teams in question also gray? How do other files with the same name but trailing "_n" look like? A screenshot of some textures in that folder (for gray teams) would be helpful.

I had the same issue. When I stated a new game the problem did not reoccur.

Thanks for the screenshot. So there is a missing file (right, with the "_n"), that's why the Jersey appears grey.
Can you try to a default Jersey by selecting a random design from the list and see if there is a new file in that directory with the "_n"?
If that works can you auto-load Jankees Jersey again? That should bring back the missing file and fix the grey shadow.

However, we should also add a fix for the case of missing file. Will take care of it.

The fix for the case of the missing "_n" file will be available in the next version (23.3.61). Now no jersey should appear grey in the profile picture.

However, it's shadow will not be that good, due to the missing file. I still don't know why that file is missing.
