Thoughts on the 5 minutes game interval

I think it was a bit too fast, you couldn't really tinker with your roster much because by the time you were done, a new sim had been completed. You could work around this by not downloading the sim, of course, but it might have been better to use a 10 minute cycle, or even 7 1/2.

But it did have its upside - Bill Gullickson won over 100 games for one of my teams, and another had 4 90 game winners and a 200+ save season from Robb Nen. League leaders were insane - 600 SB's, 190 HR, 875 RBI were not uncommon.

Don't get used to it. It was mostly just to hammer the servers. We'll be back on a normal schedule when we launch

I guess you didn't notice that most of the players had played like 1,300 - 1,400 games. All that was supposed to do really is find more errors, glitches, so forth. It'll all be cleaned up, deleted and forgotten about today when it starts for real

It's almost like people don't understand what beta's are for. I guess the industry as a whole is to blame for that since so many sell the game in alpha and beta states now. The things you learn by being old
