laptop graphics

I do have just a $500 laptop and i want the graphics to be better and i have the graphics on the highest setting but the crowd looks lame...is there anything i can do to improve the graphics or as another choice would a external graphics card be an option? ay ideas would be appreciated

There are settings outside of the game, have you looked at those?

What's your screen resolution?

I have both the audience quality and detail set to extra high.....would changing my resolution improve the quality?
