Nikaido & Ramirez - Journey to stardom?
This dynasty report is all about 2 young CF prospects of the Kansas City Lords team. I am the Lords GM and these guys caught my interest. Two young CF prospects with potential. Lets see what happens to them throughout their careers.
They were both signed and assigned to the Lords International complex over three years ago. They have just completed their second year in A ball. Let's meet these guys. Shigeji Nikaido - He was signed as an international prospect out of Japan and assigned to the international complex. Promoted from the complex as an eighteen year old. Ok his first year in A ball and excelled his second. I moved him to left field as to eliminate any competition with Ramirez. Looks like my A ball manager also wanted him to play first base. If he starts the 2236 season strong, He will be moved up to AA ball. Victor Ramirez - He chose to sign with the Lords in the international amateur draft, getting the maximum allowed ($35,000). He was also promoted and has played 2 years in A ball. Well almost two, last season he ruptured his medial collateral ligament and will miss 9-10 months. He was having a great year before that. At this point, will except him to remain in A ball next season. |

The plan is to update a couple of times each season going forward.

Half way through the 2236 season.
Shigeji Nikaido - He started the season in A ball. He continued to do good, promoted him to AA for the second half on the season. Looks like he lost a half star in his ratings. Seems to be common that my guys lose ratings during the season. Victor Ramirez - He has been awesome this year when he is healthy which is not as much as I would like. I will promote him to AA when he gets healthy. Victor also lost a half star rating and also lost some potential in his Gap power. ] Lets see how they do in AA. The 2236 season is complete. Both potential stars are currently in AA. They were both promoted for the second half of the AA season and as you will notice, both struggled but still show great promise.
Shigeji Nikaido - He really struggled after being promoted but started to come around as he got used to AA. Victor Ramirez - Victor had a hard time staying on the diamond this past season. While he was healthy, he dominated A ball but never felt comfortable in AA. |

Midway through the 2237 season and both players are still in AA ball. They also were both in the futures all star game.
Shigeji Nikaido and Victor Ramirez - Both guys are the youngest players in AA and are struggling to find continued success. Hopefully they will turn it around in the second half of the season. Good part is they are starters and are getting plenty of at-bats. |
