Waviers/Spring Training Invitee

Just started a Challenge Mode (Using LIve Stas) using White Sox and I'm kinda stumped why so many players were/are on waiver and Tim Anderson on DFA.AND NOT ON ROSTER. I put Anderson on roster and set lines, go to play a game and it stop, kicks me out to transactions page telling me Tim Anderson was a spring training invitee and can not be on roster and must be removed...HELP

Okay...I put him om 40 man roster and everything good, but why were so many players waived and how could I put Anderson on 28 man roster when he was not on 40 man roster 10 games into the Live Stats season
