Historical MLB uniforms not correct

Picking some random Historical MLB team designs from the Customize Team Design screen, nothing looks right. Screenshot is one example. No logo and hat color/design don't seem accurate. Continuing to select teams (including MLB and fictional, which worked before), the sample player is always stuck on the white jersey with red double piping shown in the screenshot. Same goes for Live players on their Profile screens - hats are updated* but uniform stays the same.

*Hats only update sporadically, maybe at photo generation. After that, they stay stuck on the same hat.

It's not possible to generate fictional uniforms with the historical .OI files that come with the game. You would need to use custom/modded logos or uniforms for this.
