Split fielding ratings

Hey, I just encountered split fielding ratings at several positions for guys who play multiple places. I use 0-100, and these are fairly wide spreads like 35/70 at some, not all, positions. Seems to be other than the primary position. I went in through editor to try to understand the derivation, and may be related to games played at a position. Have not yet done the obvious and started a game to see what rating shows on the field. Anyone have a backstory on this change?

I believe the game now shows 'potential' rating at positions they have experience at - ie: what they will reach with more experience.

So for example if you have Tatis at SS and are wondering about getting a glove-first SS, it tells you how good of a 2B (or 3B or whatever) you can expect Tatis to be.

edit - so a rating of 35/75 at RF means it's a 35 (which is all you would have seen previously) but will become a 75 if he plays enough RF

Cool. I hoped it might work that way. It only makes sense that a rating should improve over time - for most guys. Before, the only way I could change ratings indirectly as Commissioner was to increase the number in Editor at a position up to 200. This mimics real life - like so much of the game.
