NHL/Europe Transfer System is broken

Hi,

So I'm playing in Sweden and just lost 6 of my best players to the NHL at August 31(!), when my season has already started. This has happened every season so far. Any way to fix this? Can I edit this myself?

I think irl the transfer deadline for contracted IIHF players is as early as 15 June and mid-August for drafted players. The players I lost were a mix of undrafted players and players who were drafted years ago, which makes no sense and pretty much destroys my save as I can't replace those players that late.

The signing deadline date's deliberately set a little later than in real life, the NHL roster AI had some problems when we used the early dates (particularly the June one.)
