Changing the year in a league
Is it possible to change the year of a league? I've got a fictional league that's in the year 2057 and I'd like to reset it to 2022 (and wipe the history). Is resetting the year possible?

Not that I have found... and I have looked a bit. Most of my random debut leagues start in the 1890s now as it drives me crazy for some reason to see those 2050s and up dates.

Yeah, I've scoured the Forums and all the Settings screens but can't find any way to do it.
This game does 10 million things that I have no real use for but not the seemingly simple things I'd like.

You can try saving your league as a template and then create a new game from that.

Nice idea but it doesn't seem to work. The league structure seems to just be the league/subleague/team setup.

It is impossible to change the start date of an on-going league, or to save a template and change the start date from the game date of the save.

No, you cannot do this. Best advice: when you begin a league, save it as a back-up. You can restore infinitely from that backup, so long as you don't save over it. In your case, name your league 2022-pristine.lg (for example) and when you restore from it, delete the word pristine. You'll have a fresh copy ready to move forward with.
