Strange owner goal

I'm doing a 2021 Cubs replay. One of the owner's goals for the season is re-sign Eric Sogard. Not Bryant, Rizzo or Baez. He wants me to re-sign a 34 year old backup infielder hitting .125. Anyway, it's not going to happen. I DFA'd him then traded him to the Twins. Just thought that was real odd.

Owner goals? Every year I pray they'll give us thw option to respond tho those goal emails, and I pray harder that one of the responses will be to tell the owner to mind his own ******* business.

It is a dream I have.

I have been known to have my owner pass away mysteriously overnight for stuff like this. Usually from 37 stab wounds, or being pushed down the stairs. Or both.

sometimes these owner goals remind me of the Steve Martin comedy routine about the demands of hostage takers - "And i want the letter 'M' stricken from the English language"
