AI GM not accepting his own counteroffers?
I've had this happen a few times - made a trade offer to an AI GM who wanted to think about it, and then a couple days later sent me an email with a list of additional players he'd accept to get the deal done.
But when I add one of those players (obviously the one I'm most willing to part with) after clicking on "discuss trade again" from the email, I still get the "I'm thinking about it" response rather than an acceptance. An example here where I added the first guy listed, Sanchez: ![]() ![]() Anyone else have this happen? Generally I've just clicked on "force trade" since I'm accepting their counter, but it seems like a bug that the devs should look into. |

I've had this happen several times and I just add one of the players requested and click on force trade.

I usually assume that something might have changed between when the AI makes the counter and when you see it that changes the equation somewhat. I know you might immediately click Accept when you get the email, but I assume there are lots of different sequential steps when the game sims from June 11 to June 12, and that maybe a trade offer is made in Step X, then in Step Y>X a player is waived or injured or whatever that changes the evaluation for the AI GM.

Some AI GMs jerk you around. I think that's realistic.
