I'm playing a historical league, and, just for fun, I decided to "Use random rookies from all eras" this time around. Which means that in the late 1940s, Fernando Tatis Jr. was drafted by the White Sox. He's in his 14th season (.285 avg., 360 HR), and in the draft this year, the Indians took, in the 3rd round, 22-year-old Fernando Tatis, whose son is 34.

I have both Bobby and Barry Bonds playing at roughly the same age in my PBL and for purposes of reportage I have acted as if they are brothers rather than father and son.

If it bothers you to have this anachronism, here's an idea. Change junior's name to Fernando Gabriel Tatis, which is his full name.
