Single Season Win Percentage

Did you guys know that the game doesn't recognize all of the winning percentages pitchers on the leaderboard?

It misses several of the greatest winning % season and even omits undefeated pitchers, both starters and relievers, in active single season leaders and single season record holders.

For example, the record for winning % in the league I'm simulating is 14-0 held by a reliever. Problem, quite a few piters have bested that 14-0 record but do not appear on the leaderboard. Several more pitchers have had season of .950 WIN% or better and they are also omitted from the career best leaderboard.

Not a game breaking bug at all but it's not close to being optimized. I also notived this in 21'.

I believe a pitcher normally has to average one inning per team game to be eligible as a leader in certain statistical categories, Bajecco. So if your league has a schedule that lasts 162 games per regular season for a team, for example, then a pitcher has to pitch 162 innings to be eligible as a statistical leader in certain categories, normally, it seems.

Batters usually need at least 3.1 plate appearances per team game to be eligible to be the leader in certain statistical categories, in like manner. When one does the math, that works out to a minimum of 502 or so plate appearances for a 162-game season, if memory serves me correctly here.

If your players don't meet the minimum criteria for certain statistical categories, they can't possibly be regarded as leaders in those categories, for at least a season, if not more than one season or an entire career. Those who do not meet the necessary minimum statistical requirements for either a season or career can't qualify to be on a leaderboard for one or more categories, in essence, then.

As far as I can currently recall here, at least, it's currently the case for Major League Baseball and many other organized professional baseball leagues, if not also certain other baseball leagues, if memory serves me correctly enough here. But one would probably have to check the applicable rulebook or rulebooks to know for sure, in any case at all, Bajecco. CD out.
