Fictional League Junior League Set-up Help
Am attempting to create a fictional league with 16 teams in the 'major league' with junior leagues feeding into the league for the draft, but I am having a tough time getting the settings correct for the juniors leagues. Currently I have tried a top junior league with a league value of .65 with 8 teams, and then 4 lower junior leagues of 6 teams each with values of .5, .45, .35, and .30. However, it is producing far too many 5 star prospects. Nearly the top 60 prospects are 5 star potential. Does anyone have advice on how to get this corrected?

It would be better to go with a smaller number of leagues with more teams each. Having so many leagues with a small number of teams will tend to produce an excess of talent, particularly near the start of the game.

Thanks for the response. Roughly how many leagues and teams in each would you suggest, and at what league values?

This is something I have always wondered about too. In the past I usually mirror the NHL/CHL ratio with about twice as many junior teams as major league teams, but the drafts are way too strong at the start and way too weak later on
