Annual Financials / New Arena

I've noticed the starting Financials every July 1 are the same for the NY Americans(Now in 1938) , was looking to build a new arena but the team seems to never save any points and at the start of the new fiscal year I'm never more than 316.4 points , The cost of Said Arena is over 10k points. Am I missing something on how this system works cause it seems like I will be bankrupted by August

Oh to add I spend 5 points per month total tried it with more and less and no changes, also Attendance is good at the Gardens III so not sure how to get more points to be able to pull off the arena

It's deliberately extremely expensive, but I may need to look at adjusting the cost for the earlier historical years so it's easier to reach (although the third Gardens did last until 1968, so building a new arena may never be within the Americans' ability unless you let them play beyond their historical end date.)

I've noticed in my latest game I haven't been getting any news items for my monthly budget. I am GM/Coach with all things turned on except Lineups and Tactics.
Bit annoying as I've only just noticed.my players are upset because I'm not spending anything on team morale.

Oh The Americans will be staying in Brooklyn(Where the new Arena is Being Planned) till at least 1967(When I move them to Seattle). But I get that, my problem is they never have more than 300 every year seems to never save or stack up and intentionally tried saving and still started the next year with even less.

Would it be possible to pay it as instalments or as some kind of loan?
