How on earth is C Yasmani Gandal a perfect card ?

1) Live cards are on a different scale than historical and are supposed to reflect real world performance
2) Live ratings use rate stats as opposed to cumulative 3) He actually had a fantastic 2021 on a per-PA basis (.420 OBP / .520 SLG is insane for a defensive position) |

It was pretty suspect when he got bumped to 100 but Salvy didnt

It really wasn't though. Grandal put up more WAR in 375 PA than Perez did in 665 PA. Grandal was a 59% better-than-average hitter (by wRC+) while Perez was only 27% better than average. It's all about the plate discipline.
