Questions about Custom Games

First of all, I really love the new features of the custom mode of the game. The ability to create not just one league structure, but an expansive universe is really fun and immersive.

One of those cool features is the ability to create custom tournaments, and I just wonder...is there a way to control when in the season the tournament takes place, and also, who qualifies from each league? For example, I'm trying to create a sort of alternative professional hockey history, with a similar set-up of a Cup final between the finalists of a Western and Eastern pro league. Is it (or will it) be possible to ensure that the tournament takes place after the respective seasons of each team, and also, between the two league champions? As of now, in my test run, the tournament runs in September, in the middle of the pre-season, and the four teams involved (unfortunately it cannot be just two) are the top two regular season teams from either league, not necessarily the top two playoff teams.

Also, a second question, but is it an option to start a Custom Game on July 1st? As of now, the game is initiated on August 15th, however, that means that I am not able to create any tournaments for the first season of the save. It isn't a huge deal, but it would be preferable to have the ability to run those tournaments from the get go.

A third question would be also, is it/will it be possible to have any international style tournaments? It would be cool to have Olympic games, World Championships, World Cups, etc in a custom game.

And a final question: Is it possible to disband a league? I see that you can remove a team from existence, but let's say I wanted to create a league similar to the WHA, that only lasts a half-dozen years or so. Is there a way to 'delete' a league, or at least have it go dormant?

No way to change the tournament dates yet, and the participants are limited to the top (whatever number you select) teams from the selected leagues. It's just the first version of that feature, though, so we'll likely be expanding it and adding more options.

Custom games can be started on July 1, just choose the July 1 option when you get to the "Set Up Your Manager" screen.

International play for custom games is something we want to do, but there are some complications to it that we'll have to work out first.

Disbanding a league isn't possible at the moment.
