player missing (team) by his name under most points/assists etc

Hadn't seen this before... Crosby just has ( ) next to his name so it's missing his team's initials. It was like that under points but he fell off, but you can see it under assists.

The () indcates he doesn't currently have a team, in this case likely due to something like a career-ending injury.

I don't think that's the case here or if it was supposed to be a career-ending injury (which I thought didn't exist in FHM?) it's not working properly.

This was the 15-16 season and he played in all 82 games.Following year he played in 78 and in my current season he's still playing (and I don't think he's missed a game yet) - all with the same team.

Odd, is there anything unusual in his transactions history? The only way that () happens is when the guy literally doesn't have a team assigned.

Looks normal. Original screenshot was Nov 2, 2015. His contract was renewed Feb 2015 so clearly he had a team. He was also resigned by the same team in Feb 2017 so that looks normal to me.
Wasn't even injured around the time of the Nov 2, 2015 screenshot either.
