Soon. Would not be surprised if it's worldwide by the end of the month, considering they're doing a soft launch. Soft launches aren't really something that you do very far in advance of a release.

I think the post said that they were going to examine it over the two weeks and then when they were 100% satisfied release it worldwide. It is a sensible approach and I am happy to wait.

I think the frustration is that Markus on May 28 made the two week comment, then last week said the app was pretty ready to go but they needed approvals. It’s been asked a couple of times on here whether than means a matter of hours, day or weeks. To say “end of month” is quite an assumption - it is a legitimate question that Markus has refused to answer when people ask for the above guidance. I have defended the soft launch on here and it makes sense, but it does seem like a power trip at the moment of keeping a secret. Given the general relationship between OOTP staff and the people that use this site, that has been a surprising approach. Treat people like they really matter to you and it will generally go far better.

What would the motivation be by the company to have this information, but refuse to give it out? Like you, I check back here everyday to see if there is an update and check the App Store on my phone but why would I think there is some conspiracy brewing about the company intentionally keeping me in the dark?

I understand wanting a product, but after 20+ plus years of this company being very transparent and communicating with its clientele I find it troubling how rude and entitled some of the commenters are. Really?? It's and **** you to make sure a product is awesome?? Really???

Holy crap, you’re a jerk. If you read every post I have ever put on here you will see that I am always the one saying Markus and the team are great, be patient, etc. It is people like you that make these boards so freakin’ miserable to try and participate in.

My point had nothing in the world to do with claiming a conspiracy. It was simply that an unsettling is brewing which Markus could very easily take care of by simply coming on and saying, “Look, here’s what we know….Here’s what we don’t….Here’s my best guess, and I’ll keep you updated.” That was it. Anything else you read into that is flat-out wrong. I do feel that Markus led people to believe 17 days ago the app would be released in approximately two weeks. He has since simply given a flippant “soon” response, nothing else I noted. I don’t think I am creating a conspiracy by effectively saying, “Markus, this is not your and the team’s normal approach, and people are taking something you probably don’t mean to blow up in a direction that is turning negative.”

Maybe the op should be calling Apple or MLB and cussing them out regarding the approval process. I am sure that will really help.
