Restarting at mid season

I've had it happen on two historical leagues that I sim to mid-season, then switch to another app for a while, and when I open OOTP GO again the league is back to opening day but all of the stats for that year are still available in the player profiles.

The league is basically unplayable at that point. Well, the game will advance but all of the stats are compromised.

Do you switch apps while simming? If the game is put to the background, the device can kill the app whenever it wants

Yes. It's happened a couple of times that I get a call or have to open an email quickly before I have time to stop the sim.

I'll try to be mindful of that, but in real life I do need to jump out of the game sometimes. It would be great if there was some kind of check in place--even if everything goes back a bit it would be better than having a date and stats that don't match

Ok I agree, I think what I'll do is stop the sim and save if the app is put to the background. You won't be able to sim in the background, but this way it'll at least not lose you any data. I won't be able to get this into the next release, but I'll almost certainly have it in the one after

Ok I made this change, so it'll be in the next patch. When it comes out please let me know if this change works as intended
