Game winning triple bug?

Forgive me if this has been posted before. I was playing a game with 5.10 earlier today, and my team was trailing 2-1 in the bottom of the ninth inning. After loading the bases, the next hitter tripled (?!) into the right field corner, knocking in all three runs to win 4-2.

Is this a known bug? I do recall having this happen with earlier versions of OOTP, but I thought that this had been addressed?

I know that my catcher was excited at the prospect of his first career triple, but c'mon...

Hehe, guess the guy was indeed excited to get to third. Haven't heard about that myself.
